What is Holodoxa?
Holodoxa is a home for idea exploration. This includes commentary on a wide range of topics: genetics, neuroscience, human behavior, psychology, history, literature, culture, politics, and much more. Holodoxa is paradise for the intellectually curious generalist.
I’m an avid reader, and I like to process my reading by thinking out loud. So I publish a lot of book reviews here. I reserve more polished reviews for Holodoxa, but I try to review everything I read. If you’re interested in what I’m reading and my thoughts on those books, I have >350 reviews available on my Goodreads’ page.
In addition to book reviews, I run a series of articles called Cancer Genomes. These articles examine special topics in precision oncology and hereditary cancer syndromes. Recently, I’ve started a series of synthetic dialogues on salient political and cultural issues. Periodically, I will publish podcast conversations. These podcasts sit alongside my regular biweekly podcast, Views from Cleve-Mandu, which publishes biweekly episodes. Depending on my availability, I will continue to make more of my work available to a growing audience.
